In the heart of central Victoria, overlooking the majestic Mount Buller, lies a charming farm in Merton that has been the backdrop for many cherished memories for Paul and his family. For over 40 years, this farm has been a cornerstone of family life, complete with its mid-1800s farmhouse, sheds, and a notably established lemon tree.
As part of Paul’s passion for food, wine and bringing people together, he set up a wine club that has been going on for the past 12 years. It has expanded to include set dinners and locations across Melbourne, and our recent batch of Limoncello, crafted with Paul's lemons, is a testament to enjoying good times with friends and family.
The result?
As Paul puts it, "I really like Limoncello because it is not trying to be anything other than an alcoholic version of lemon juice. It's zingy, zesty, refreshing, and a very cheerful drop - a happy drink that captures the essence of sun and summer, even in winter."
Here’s to many more years of zest, laughter, and unforgettable moments. Cheers!
